Use your skills to Bake for Ukraine!

We have all be shocked by the disaster in Ukraine and refugee crisis in Europe. The public support for the people of Ukraine has been amazing. Now we all need to turn this public support into action and help in anyway we can.

We are launching a “Bake for Ukraine” campaign throughout March and April 2022.

All money raised will be going to the British Red Cross – Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Registered charity number 220949.

We are asking for bakers of any and all experience to get involved. We will be removing 50% of your off the cost of your order to help get your fundraising started.

How to get involved:

1. Fill out this online form to sign up  to the campaign
2. We will select as many bakers as possible and Emily will contact you to place your order
3. Bake cakes, cookies, bread etc and donate your profits to this campaign.
4. Share your progress on social media using #BAKEFORUKRAINE (and tag us @cotswoldflour) to encourage others to support and get involved.
5. Donate your profits to our JustGiving Bake For Ukraine page.

What is the fundraising target?
We are aiming to raise at least £5000 for the British Red Cross – Ukraine Crisis Appeal and we will send an update on social media and to our Baking Club mid April.

All profits are going to the British Red Cross – Ukraine Crisis Appeal who are working directly with the people of Ukraine.

What are The Red Cross doing to help people?
As the security situation allows, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will continue to respond to existing and emerging humanitarian needs. The Red Cross has supported people affected by this conflict for years and this will not stop now.

Your donation and fundraising could help someone affected get:

• food
• water
• first aid
• medicines
• warm clothes
• shelter

So far, Red Cross teams in Ukraine have distributed over 90,000 food and hygiene parcels and provided food, warm clothes, and other aid to around 7,000 people sheltering in metro stations in Kyiv.

First aid training has also been delivered to over 12,000 people taking cover in metro stations and bomb shelters, so they have the skills to treat their loved ones if needed.

Red Cross teams in bordering countries are offering medical care and providing food, aid and shelter to people arriving from Ukraine.

YOUR DONATION WILL HELP THE BRITISH RED CROSS REACH MORE PEOPLE.

£10 could provide a hygiene kit to a family of five, giving them supplies to stay healthy for a month

£20 could provide five blankets to families taking shelter

£30 could provide 3,600 chlorine tablets to ensure that families have access to clean, safe water

£100 could provide sleeping mats for 66 people who have been forced from their homes

£210 could provide a fully equipped first aid kit, including supplies, to a first aider treating those wounded.
