The Cotswold Grain Partnership is a partnership of local farming families and businesses. We are connected by a shared desire to collaborate directly and share new ideas, develop new growing opportunities, and promote sustainable food sources & farming.
LOCAL COTSWOLD COLLABORATION
Our aim is to reduce the food miles from farm to mill by collaborating with local Cotswold growers and the Matthews Cotswold Flour Mill. We develop a direct route to market for farmers growing Conventional and Organic grain varieties. We work with the farmers to ensure a fair price and collection to support their business.
DEVELOPING NEW OPPORTUNITIES
There are a host of opportunities with alternative and heritage grain varieties for growers across the UK. Grown in a sustainable way these varieties can offer farmers positive returns for growers and a nutritious and ethical product for consumers.
PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY
To secure our food networks for future generations a long-term view of the way we produce our food is essential. Through the Cotswold Grain Partnership we hope to provide a platform for knowledge sharing and innovative ideas on regenerative farming.
