A Day of Fabulous: Foodbod, Flour & Food!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to our event on Tuesday 3rd May with Elaine Foodbod to celebrate the launch of her new book: The Sourdough Whisperer!

The day started with a tour of the Cotswold Flour Mill for some, followed by a talk by Elaine and Bertie Matthews, Managing Director of Matthews Cotswold Flour, and then a Q&A session to answer all questions Sourdough and Flour related!

The event was hosted at the amazing FarmEd venue just down the road from our mill, where we then had a delicious lunch and book signing with Elaine.

“For a long time I’ve wanted to create an event to bring lots of our lovely bakers together in one place, to meet one another face to face, share their love of baking, and just have a wonderful day, and on Tuesday 3rd May that’s what we got to do. Bertie and I were so excited to meet so many of you, and to finally be able to share our love of what we do with you in person.

The venue was beautiful, the staff and food and set up were amazing, and the whole day went absolutely perfectly thanks to the amazing organisational skills of Emily East from Cotswold Flour.

I hope that everyone who attended enjoyed it and we look forward to welcoming many of you at FarmEd for more events very soon.”
